Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the QanTech platform ("the platform"). References to "we," "us," or "our" mean the operator of the platform, based in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service description

The platform provides:

A free, public directory of lawyers practicing in Jordan, comprising professional profiles published only with each lawyer's prior explicit consent, for informational purposes only
A marketing site describing AI-related professional services
A contact form for business inquiries

The platform does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or any form of legal services. Nothing on the platform creates a lawyer-client relationship between you and the operator or between you and any lawyer referenced in the directory.

2. Lawyer directory

The directory comprises professional profiles of lawyers practicing in Jordan, organized for the convenience of the public, none of which is published without the lawyer's prior explicit consent. A lawyer may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@qantech.ai, and the profile will then be removed from the directory. The operator does not independently verify the credentials, licensing status, qualifications, or practice history of any lawyer referenced in the directory, nor does the operator monitor the quality of any services they provide.

Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence - including verifying a lawyer's standing with the Jordanian Bar Association - before engaging any lawyer.

The operator is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, any agreement, communication, or transaction between users and lawyers referenced in the directory. The operator does not endorse or recommend any lawyer.

If you believe any information in the directory is inaccurate or out of date, you may report it through the platform.

3. Permitted use of the platform

You agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. You shall not:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
Use automated means to extract, scrape, or harvest data from the platform
Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial communications
Reproduce, redistribute, or republish any part of the directory or platform content

4. Contact form

Submitting the contact form expresses your interest in our services. It does not constitute a binding agreement, an offer, or an acceptance. Any subsequent engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement.

5. Intellectual property

All original content on the platform - including text, design, layout, code, the structure and arrangement of the directory, and the QanTech name and branding - is the intellectual property of the operator and is protected under the Jordanian Copyright Law No. 22 of 1992 (as amended) and international copyright treaties. Copyright protection arises automatically upon creation and does not require registration.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, republish, or create derivative works of any part of the platform - in whole or in part - without prior written permission from the operator. Unauthorized use will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

The compilation, selection, and arrangement of information in the directory constitutes a protected database under Jordanian law, independent of the copyright status of the individual data points.

6. Third-party content and links

The platform may contain references or links to third-party services or websites. The operator does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The operator does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that information on the platform is complete, accurate, or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Jordanian law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

Your use of, or inability to use, the platform
Your reliance on any information provided on the platform, including directory information
Any engagement, communication, or transaction with a lawyer referenced in the directory
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Any error, inaccuracy, or omission in directory information

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or any content you submit to the platform.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Lawyer confidentiality commitment

QanTech will not publish, share, sell, or disclose any information about lawyers, including their names, contact details, or practice areas, without their prior explicit consent.

This commitment applies to the lawyer directory: a lawyer appears in the directory only after opting in, and may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@qantech.ai.

The only exceptions to this commitment are:

Service providers that process data on our behalf under a duty of confidentiality
Disclosures required by Jordanian law or by court order

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
